So every melee should have durability ,and every melee a better or worse one (depends on da price ) and if you run out if durability you will needs repair your weapon
You repair your weapon by going to a blacksmith (new thing in main menu) wich takes every time coins (depends on melee price ) so if you have the sickle you need 2 coins if you have the fearless sword it’s 300 coins and it will take more time per price (sickle repair time : 5 sec , fearless sword reapair time : 3min )
If you don’t repair your melee it stays broken (you will see a list of your broken melees )
Hitting a 20 Dmg protection skin with a melee takes off more durability than hitting a person with a 0 dmg protection skin
and maybe there could be a blacksmith at spawn to repair it while in a game
bit too extreme, extended cooldown better. plus these are weapons, they are made for fighting, should not be weakened by dmg prot by significant amount (except for weapons like katana bc they have low durability and subpar steel).
repairs being expensive only enables spammers and put people like us at a disadvantage
plus if such thing is applied to melee, bows must need repairing too, and buying arrows.
would dying restore durability? Cause if so, don’t waste coins, just die. Would it carry on to other matches or be solely for the current one. Maybe put an anvil near spawn to activate.
