It's easy to see Narrow One has been receiving more and more updates in the past year. Each containing new and unique items that create new play-styles, and complete existing ones. However, despite all of these updates being added, there is one item that is noticeably missing from the current game, an item that has recently been christened by the community as "The God-Spear". The god-spear, or gs for short, describes an imaginary light-poke melee that combines the best traits of the trident and the meta-spear by using a unique blend of stats. These stats being 3 attack strength (from the trident), and 2 reach (from the meta spear). While not seeming too significant, these stats allow the god-spear to have both the trident's high damage output, and the meta spear's well-known reach. This optimized combination of stats is valued by a large number of enthusiast players, because of its unique versatility not offered by other weapons. I consider the god-spear to be essential, and while the decision is up to the devs, I see two main ways it could be implemented.

1: The fearless light-poke has its stats changed to 3 attack/2 reach, and the old stats are discarded. The fearless weapons are clearly designed to be end-game gear for enthusiasts, so why not give them the stats the enthusiasts want? Besides, collectors only buy the fearless light-poke because it's the flashier version of the meta spear, not because of its stats (ignoring bloodlust); so no one who currently owns the original fearless poke will be bothered by this change, especially since it would essentially be a free upgrade. 

2: A completely new item is added that has the god-spear stats, and is significantly cheaper than the fearless spear (4-10k). This addresses concerns about the “best” melee being locked behind an expensive paywall, while still allowing the fearless spear to be a unique item. Everyone gets a fair chance to obtain top-tier gear without having to grind for a prohibitively expensive item.
