It’s the anti cheat. Basically you’re doing way too much damage in a set time, so the anti cheat kicks in, and they take no damage.
It could also be the lag, basically if someone has 200 ping, they’re 200 ms from where they are, so it doesn’t count since you’re not hitting him, just the lagged version of him.
To prevent this you could space out your melee attacks more or go in front of the player and hit him from there

There was a bug in my E-mail adress, in which I lost the vinculation of my Itch account to my E-mail account. Thus I could not acces to my itch account without first linking it to my E-mail account (which I just did) so I'm back!
You can win games with skill, and I feel I definitely have or been beaten by skill, but you can also easily cheese the game against low geared players by simply grabbing the highest speed gear, and just cheesing it with some brain dead routes. Crossbows are all but worthless. Sometimes you get 5-6 hits on a person with a medium powered bow and they don't flinch despite having speed gear. Etc.
Addicting but for all the wrong reasons. I'd recommend passing.

But a guy with the fastest armor in the game shouldn't be able to also tank 4-5 medium bow shots, and melee hit (from me alone) and still be fine and zooming.
I don't have quite the time to explain the game and right now, but would you like to join the Narrow Union (NU)? It's a clan alliance, I think it'd make a great start for you.

Some guys are just fast. Irrespective of gear. I have seen different playerse with same gear move differently. Better internet and latency helps.
