Sorry to break it to you, but dmg protection is trash and does nothing. Health regen is wayyyyy better. But if you still want 20/20 dmg protection, full templar gear will get you there, along with a dmg protection quiver. (you can use a cheaper helmet tho if you want)

Fun fact: When I started playing N1, I had full templar and dmg protection quiver (20/20 dmg protection), and I would just spam the free sword and then finish them off with b6.
